Alabama Police Respond to Shooting But Find a DUI Zombie Instead

Birmingham, AL- Early Thursday morning, Birmingham police got a call that a woman was possibly shot, but when they arrived they found a woman, wearing a blood soaked zombie costume, slumped behind the wheel of her SUV.

AL.com reported that a witness called police after they saw what appeared to be a wounded slumped over her steering wheel at a Birmingham intersection around 8:15 a.m. this morning.

When police arrived they determined that this wasn’t a shooting, instead, police said, they suspected woman still dressed in her Halloween costume, a pregnant zombie, was drunk. They roused the woman and placed her under arrest.

The front of the woman’s costume was covered in blood, so it is understandable that witnesses believed she had been shot.

Zombies are all the rage on Halloween thanks to movies and popular zombie shows like the Walking Dead. Speaking off, recently one of the stars of this popular show was also arrested for DUI.
