A male suspect charged with murder among other charges after being involved in a car accident which resulted in the death of his two passengers has pleaded not guilty and so the case will be going to trial. As reported by CBS, the suspect in the case has been identified in court documents as 24 year old Ryan Gary Renz.
He was the one who was operating a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta which ended up crashing into a rather sizeable oak tree on the side of Buckman Springs Road which is located in the proximity of Morena Drive. Even if the tree is knocked down, hit a tree is not wise nor comfortable.
The auto accident resulted in the car rolling over. They were travelling in the southbound lane when the auto accident happened and as per the California Highway Patrol, the passenger who was in the backseat was thrown out of the car and another man who was also an occupant of the car was entrapped within the Jetta.
The deceased victims of the car accident have been identified by authorities as 23 year old Johnny Ray Meyer and 26 year old Cody Wiltfong who both hail from Campo. As per investigators, both the victims died on the scene of the accident itself. The official reason for their deaths has been defined as “multiple blunt force trauma” by the county medical examiner’s office.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver and suspect, Renz was unable to stay on the roadway and veered off and smashed into the tree because of the fact that he was very drunk. Renz himself was lucky to escape the car accident which just some minor injuries.

A US marine who allegedly was driving drunk when he caused a car accident which resulted in the deaths of two UC San Diego students will be tried for murder, according to a NBC report.
The suspect in the case is Jason Riley King and the car accident occurred back on May 16th, 2015. The two students who lost their lives as a result of the accident were Anne Li Baldoc and Madison Elizabeth Cornwell aged, 24 and 23, respectively.
