25 year old Aldon Jacarus Smith has been apprehended and taken into custody and faces several charges, according to an nfl.com report. The football player is an outside linebacker and made a name for himself while playing college football in Missouri. Smith was picked up in 2011 by the San Francisco 49ers but is currently a free agent.
He is currently out of a job!
Smith should have remained at home and read a book
Smith has been in the news for the wrong reasons in the past. This time however, it looks like he has stepped up his antics by more than just a notch as he faces charges of driving under the influence, and even vandalism. As per arrest reports, he was held in jail after being arrested on Thursday last week although reports suggest that he has since been bailed out by his DUI attorney who posted a bail amount of $26,000.
Throwing away millions of dollars because of a lack of basic discipline
The San Francisco 49ers released a statement via a spokesperson which stated that despite supporting Smith in all ways possible, his bad behavior has continued. However, they continue to support him even though he is no longer a part of the team. Only last year, Smith was under the spotlight for having violated policies of the National Football League. The best DUI attorneys in the nation who could be found on the breathtaking website USAttorneys.com are at a loss of words because of this. They do not know why it is so much trouble for someone to just remain at home or get a ride with a friend.
What Tom Brady did was far worse though.
He crossed the lines when it came to matters of personal conduct and drug/substance use. For this violation, Smith had served a nine game ban. Furthermore, he has a history of drunken driving. He was arrested in 2013 for driving under the influence, for which he not only served a five game ban but was also instructed to check into a rehabilitation or counselling center.
57 year old DUI suspect enters Naples hospital with gun
A 57 year old man identified as Rey Garcia made doctors skip a heartbeat when he entered a Naples Florida Hospital with a gun. Garcia was at the facility for a toxicology report, when he pulled out a gun from his trouser pockets, as reported by NBC. The hospital will now be equipped with a metal detector to avoid such happenings in the future. This is just like those ER episodes in season 5 or 6! Where is Dr. Carter at!
Somehow, Garcia was transported from the accident site to the hospital with a gun on his person the whole time. The fact that he was concealing a deadly weapon only surfaced when they subjected Garcia to an x-ray. Thankfully, things did not escalate from their and security were able to nab Garcia and confiscate his gun.
DUI laws in New Jersey
New Jersey gets it fair share of drunken driving offenders and like elsewhere in the country. They are subjected to harsh penalties so as to restrict them from committing the crime again in the future. Offenders are hit with hefty fines, lengthy prison terms, installation of ignition interlock devices, ankle bracelets etc. depending on the magnitude or severity of the DUI and also if they have previous DUI offenses.
Sometimes, people are unfairly charged with DUI (due to faulty testing machines and error prone law enforcement officers). In such cases, it is prudent to appoint a DUI attorney and get started on preparing the best defense to beat their DUI case.
